If you reside in Chandigarh or Ambala or even Ludhiana you may like to make a day trip to the Dak Bungalow. A day trip where we offer you all the facilities that we have on offer including the use of 1 room for the duration of your stay .

So come to us in the morning any time after 10 am, enjoy the country atmosphere of our gardens and fields, enjoy a sumptuous alfresco lunch, take a nap or take a walk, enjoy an old colonial-style high tea with tea time delicacies and depart by 6 pm with memories of a day well spent.

  • Non vegetarian meals under this offer consist of a sumptuous Indian meal with 2 non vegetarian dishes , and a good selection of vegetables and lentils .
  • Vegetarians are offered 2 vegetarian specialities in addition to the normal selection of lentils and yogurt, pickles and salad.
  • Dessert and coffee are included .
  • The offer includes high tea with a selection of finger foods including NV and Veg sandwiches , traditional indian tea time snacks like pakodas and samosas and a selection of sweets and mithai .

The cost per head for lunch , high tea and the use of a room upto 5.30 pm is 3250 per head inclusive of all taxes. We need a minimum of 2 guests to avail this offer .

Amenities & Facilities

At The Dak bungalow good basic facilities are all a part of the service that we provide to make our guests comfortable.

All our accomodation comes complete with a Double Bed, Sofa and easy chair(s),and a luggage rack.

WIFI is provided via Jio dongle on request.

All bathrooms have hot and cold running water. Each room has a private verandah overlooking the gardens , fields and forest.

Mineral water is served in the common areas and in the rooms Mineral water ( not RO ) is provided in glass bottles.

We do not normally provide room service except for bed tea which is served individually in the rooms to guests between 7.30am and 8.30pm on demand.

WE DO NOT PROVIDE ALCOHOL . Guests are advised to carry their own alcoholic beverages which our staff will be happy to serve .

Drivers and other guest staff:

We have limited accommodation for accompanying male staff such as driver or personal valet. We need to be informed in advance if guests have such a requirement. There is no provision for the guests personal staff to be fed on the premises.
